Research project consisted of:

  • Development of methodologies for modeling and simulation of hierarchical wireless tactical networks, traffic modeling produced by IRM in OPNET Modeler simulation environment.
  • Development of TPGEN application which allows easy input of parameters of tactical network (radio parameters, IRM parameters, parameters for statistical modeling of data sources) in OPNET tactical simulation model.
  • Development of expert system for automated evaluation of the properties of radio network based on the raw simulations results in OPNET.
  • Development of “Tactical player“ tools for visualization of simulation results. “Tactical player “combines real 3D image of battlefield (OPNET 3DNV) with simulation results and results made by expert system.
  • Development of methodologies for real-time simulations with real communication equipment in a simulation loop.
