DSP hardware has been developed and implemented together with the algorithms for transmission of coded (compressed) images via GSM/GPRS network. Original images were taken from the camera, coded (compressed) with advanced wavelet coder (or standard JPEG) and sent over wireless GSM/GPRS network using IP/UDP/TFT protocols.
